Can I Bring My Own Furniture Into  The Accommodation?

Accepted Answer

It is negotiable if you want to bring your own furniture. However, you cannot bring your own furniture prior to our consent. We want to prevent any damages caused by moving or bringing furniture. If you want to make adjustments to the room, you'll have to sign a liability contract. Be aware that some furniture may be attached to floors and walls, so it cannot be moved.

Please note that you are not allowed, among other things, to make adjustments to your accommodations, like making holes in the wall. Appliances such as your own washing machine, dryers, heaters, or fridges are not allowed.

All costs associated with this, including removal, storage, and reinstallation, will be charged to the tenant.

Question 2

We Want To Book An Apartment As A Group. What If We All Have A Different Arrival Date?

When you book an apartment as a group, you will receive one rental agreement. The starting date in the rental agreement applies to the entire group, so is the rent payment. The group, or a member of the group, can check in the apartment starting from, e.g. 1 August. If the check-in has taken place, it is impossible to offer a rent reduction to a group member because it is simply impossible to manage the group's presence or an individual.

The check-in will take place with the entire group, or at least one group member. The group member does the check-in on behalf of the group. We will hand over the keys during the check-in to the entire group or group member. We cannot manage the late arrival of any group members and cannot discount individual group members.

Can You Pick Me Up From The Airport?

Please kindly note the following:

We can only pick you up if the pick-up appointment is arranged at least 48 hours beforehand.
The pick-up service is possible starting from 89,-- Eur. incl. VAT.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Once you book an accommodation with us, you will be provided different ways to pay the deposit, the rent and other additional services throughout the tenancy. In short, we accept the following payment methods:

SEPA Bank transfer (FREE)
iDeal (FREE)
Bancontact (FREE)
Credit cards (4.2% charge)

SEPA Bank transfer is one of the most straight forward possibilities. Kindly note to take into account the right bank account number and the attn. of the transaction. This information is always mentioned in the contract and invoice.

Non-European bank accounts

Kindly note that if you try to transfer an amount from a non-IBAN (non-European) bank account, your bank and other intermediate banks will most probably deduct transfer fees from the amount sent. This will result in a lower amount received by us, and you will need to supplement the amount due. For that reason, we do not advise you to transfer funds directly to our bank account from a non-European bank account.

iDeal is a payment method which is very popular in The Netherlands and all the Dutch banks are connected to. The invoices provided also contain an automatic payment link through iDeal, which makes transferring funds seamlessly.

Bancontact is a popular Belgium payment method which is supported by almost all the Belgium banks.

Credit cards we accept: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UnionPay, Discover and American Express. If you want to pay an amount with your credit card, a non-refundable processing fee of 4.2% of the total amount is applicable to the transaction.

All transaction fees are to be paid by the tenant

Under no circumstances do we accept cash payments

Is There Bed Linen And Towels In My Accommodation?

Bed linen and towels are not included.

Can I Check-In On An Earlier/Later Date Than The Starting Date Of The Contract?

The earliest date you can check-in is the starting date of the contract.

The check-in is always scheduled on the same day that the contract starts, which is fair. However, if you would like to have your check-in arranged later than the contract start date, that may be possible. Please inform us in time per e-mail before the scheduled check-in will take place. Kindly note that arranging a later check-in date and time is always subject to our availability. Can I Visit Your Office So You Can Help Me Find Accommodation Or So You Can Answer Some Of My Questions?

We represent landlords, and therefore don't require any agency fees from the (prospective) tenants.

It would be very inefficient if every person who is looking for housing would come to our office, and, not forget to mention, it would increase the workload whilst we do not get paid for this service. We would not be able to do our work properly as we would never have enough capacity to provide this kind of service to every person, free of charge.

As we have (ofcourse) many templates with loads of information and have our booking process automated, this works very efficient for us.

Private Bedroom

A private bedroom refers to an individual room within a shared living arrangement, such as an apartment or house. It is designated for personal use and typically includes space for sleeping and storage. Private bedrooms can be rented separately in shared living arrangements, providing individuals with their own personal space while sharing common areas, such as the kitchen, living room, and bathroom, with other tenants.

Semi-Studio

A semi-studio is a residential unit that offers a combination of shared and private spaces. It typically includes a private bedroom and bathroom, while the kitchen and/or toilet (and/or other living areas) may be shared with other residents. Semi-studios are a popular option for those seeking a balance between privacy and affordability. Semi-studios are often favored by students who value privacy but are open to sharing common areas with like-minded individuals. It allows for a more social living environment while still providing a private bedroom for relaxation and study.

Studio

A studio apartment is a self-contained living space that typically features a single room encompassing the bedroom, living area, and kitchenette. It often has a separate bathroom. Apartment

House

Is A Proof Of Payment Sufficient To Arrange The Check-In?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only if we received the payment before the check-in.

We can schedule the check-in, but if the payment is not on our bank account at the moment of your check-in, then we cannot proceed with the check-in process and we are obliged to charge you with a no-show fee.

Question 10

Why Is The Advertisement I Have Seen Before Not Available On Your Website?

If you cannot find the accommodation which you have seen earlier, it means it is currently unavailable. All our available accommodations are published on our website under listings. If you cannot find the accommodation you saw before, it means it is currently not available.

Once an accommodation becomes unavailable, the status of it will be changed to Rented Out but the accommodation still remains visible on our website.
